LPN Behavioral Health FT
POSITION
Summary:
The Behavioral Health LPN under the direction/supervision of a Behavioral Health RN provides directpatient care by utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the established policies andprocedures of Southwestern Medical CenterPerforms a variety of direct and indirect patient care dutieswithin the scope of practice of an LPN including patient education, both in groups and individually.Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluation of nursing careMaintains clinical competencies through continuing educationMust have good communication skills and ability to work with others as ateam to ensure quality patient careComputer skills are helpful.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Current Practical Nurse license for the state of Oklahoma Current BCLS and Pediatric First Aid with in 30 days of hire MAB (Managing Aggressive Behavior) within 30 days of hire Valid Driver's License issued by the State of Oklahoma (if applicable)EDUCATION:
