-Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and comfort.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Qualifications - Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
