Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant II provides support in all areas of the Registrar's Office.
1.
Job Duties as Administrative Assistant II include, but are not limited to:
Work extensively with the student information system (Banner).
Prepare and proofread correspondence.
Process applications for graduation, commencement information and related documents.
Manage financial account, create purchase orders.
Maintain office supply inventory.
Process student enrollment.
Prepare enrollment verifications.
Process undergraduate and graduate change of program requests.
Serve as backup in the Transcript Office.
Provide information on and interpretation of OSRHE and University policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of student records according to FERPA.
Assist students with the automated degree audit system (Degree Works).
Assist with archiving of student records.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION:
The position will work under the supervision of the Registrar.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
1.
Graduate of a standard high school or equivalent 2.
Demonstrated ability to maintain an efficient office independently 3.
Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar 4.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills 5.
Demonstrated organizational and management ability 6.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other software applications 7.
Ability to manage tasks in the presence of repeated interruptions PREFERRED
Qualifications:
1.
Two years' experience working for a university 2.
Familiarity with maintenance of confidential student records SALARY RANGE:
$26,000.
