CHENEGA FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, LLC Fort Sill, OK The Warehouse Specialist MSB is responsible to the Supply Supervisor (MSB) for accomplishing assigned duties according to department procedures and Army policies, directives, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Unloads conveyances moves supplies by handcart or other mechanized conveyances.
Packs, unpacks, sorts, stacks, warehouses, and relocates items as required.
Places stock in appropriate temporary or permanent storage locations.
Processes related documentation into the web-based supply system, Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A), according to specific oral or written work instructions.
Makes in-storage checks for obvious needs for maintenance, vermin control, damage, shelf life, or deterioration.
Locates items physically based on storage bin labels or referring to the system for location information or assigning new locations as necessary and ensuring any required information is input to GCSS-A.
Compares identifying information on documents with bin labels against information within the GCSS-A system.
Selects stock in quantities indicated by the release document, assembles picked items and moves stock to locations within a well prescribed overall storage plan.
Uses a tablet or laptop to process receipts, issues and turn-ins into GCSS-A, and print associated documentation.
Puts away stockage into location and pulls stock for shipment, customers or DLA Disposition Services according to GCSS-A processing.
Performs customer support functions--those processes used to support the total requirement of customers to gain logistics support in both combat and peacetime situations.
Must be able to support automated and non-automated customer units.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess and continuously maintain a current driver's license Minimum of one (1) year experience as a warehouse specialist at the DS/GS installation or depot level of supply, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.
Must be familiar with a computer environment and be able to work on a desktop or laptop computer Ability to obtain a Forklift license.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Experience with GCSS-Army is Preferred Training in supply/storage operations is preferred.
Computer skills preferred.
